1. Overview

Hytale Top Servers ("we", "us", the "Site"), available at hytaletopservers.com, is a community-driven Hytale server listing platform. This policy explains what information we collect when you browse the Site, create an account, submit a server, or vote — and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Discord or Google, we receive your basic profile from that provider: display name, email address, and avatar image. We never see or store your password.
• Voting data. When you vote for a server we record your IP address and, if you are signed in, your account ID. This is used solely to enforce the 12-hour voting cooldown and prevent vote manipulation.
• Server submissions. Information you provide when listing a server (name, description, IP address, website, banner image, tags) is public by design — that is the purpose of the Site.
• Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and performance. These collect anonymized usage data and do not track you across other websites.

3. Cookies

We use cookies only for essential functionality: keeping you signed in (session cookies set by our authentication system) and securing sign-in flows. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To operate your account and display your profile
• To enforce voting cooldowns and prevent abuse
• To display and rank the server listings you submit
• To monitor and improve Site performance

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers required to run the Site (hosting, database, and authentication services).

5. Data Retention & Your Rights

Account data is kept while your account exists. Voting records are kept for anti-abuse purposes. You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal data at any time by contacting us; when you delete your account, your personal profile data is removed, though public server listings may remain unless you also request their removal.

6. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes & Contact

We may update this policy as the Site evolves; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Questions or data requests can be sent through our community Discord server.
